Unfortunately it'll be total downtime for all our sites and services -- no posting, no reading, no email. MOD POST // MINI-CHALLENGE [08 Nov 2008|03:16pm] slash_theplan [kathybates] Since it has officially been stated on the MOTH MySpace and the SP Website (you don't have to click both links, they're the same entry C&Ped because Patrick is a lazy arse), now is the perfect time to initiate a sort of Mini-Challenge. Really, it's just because cashdogg827 mentioned it to me and I thought it would make a GREAT story and I don't have the time to write it myself (but I really should read something that isn't Percy/Oliver or Harry Potter-related in general), I'm opening the idea to all of you. WRITE A FIC HAVING TO DO WITH PATRICK LEAVING SIMPLE PLAN'S TOUR IN ORDER TO PURSUE HIS NEW OCCUPATION. Some sort of lover's spat? Did he catch David spooning up to Sebastien and seeing it broke his heart? Did he fail to spend his $500 monthly quota at H&M so Sebastien sent him home? Did he take a picture of Chuck and Pierre and in order to keep it under wraps he's been sent away? Is this just something he wants to do and Pierre understands but he's planning on being emo now that his man will be missing? WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW - Patrick still works for/with Simple Plan. He's still their employee, just like I still work for Disney even though I'm living at home right now. HE HAS NOT "QUIT." - His new job is working as a journalist for Musique Plus in Montreal. He does the same type of stuff he did for SP, like random vlogs and interviews and he probably still takes pictures like a mad cow. - He's still a part of MOTH, and their updates will still happen, albeit very infrequently. INCENTIVE (besides making me happy) - There will be no winner for this. I already have a plan for the next big community challenge (it won't be happening until around Christmas, though, so I hope you still like this layout), so this is not going to affect the layout.
